We exist to eradicate illiteracy and poverty in rural Kenya

We are a U.S. educational charitable 501 (c) 3 tax exempt non-profit organization, with a vision to eradicate illiteracy and poverty in rural Kenyan communities, and foster the advancement of a healthy, productive, and vibrant community.

We do this by raising money that is used to build facilities such as primary schools, community centers, libraries, classrooms, recreation halls, and computer labs.

Funds raised will also go into equipping the learning institutions with study materials such as books, computers, desks, projectors, and learning related equipment. We also seek to provide internships and professional development opportunities for teachers and educators.

We would like to end malnutrition and hunger, in children from low-income homes, by providing balanced meals (breakfast, lunch, and snacks) to school age children who are enrolled at Miriam Sei Education, Inc supported schools.

The learning centers will be environments where adults will be involved in personal development courses, where they learn new technical skills such as carpentry, welding, sewing, agribusiness, and cottage industry. The goal is to enable the adults to use their newly acquired skills as a trade to raise their income status by being employed or becoming entrepreneurs.
